Spring has sprung in the Napa Valley
It's March 2015, and we welcome the renewal of the spring, with blue skies and sunshine in the Napa Valley, bringing yellow mustard blooms and sprouting vines. Rosalynd Wine club members: time to order your Rosalynd Winery wines for your spring and summer gatherings!
Rosalynd releases the 2012 pinot noir!
We are excited to release our 2012 Russian River Valley pinot noir. Winemaker David White's tasting notes on the 2012 vintage: Aged in 100% French Oak, this pinot noir is the most reminiscent of a traditionally Burgundian style in flavor and aromas that we’ve ever made. Aromas and flavors of strawberry, cherry, and vanilla abound. This wine reminds us of Volnay wines in Burgundy, and is very food friendly.

I've pursued countless career paths including prune and pistachio harvesting, deli worker, delivery van driver, accountant, archery arrow manufacturer, professional deck refinisher, ski instructor, Alaskan salmon fishery manager, bush plane outfitter, English tutor, managing editor for an academic journal, playwright, screenwriter, news columnist, publisher, and finally winemaker/owner of Rosalynd Winery, resisting the urge to write my first novel, The Good Life: A Chris Garrett Novel for as long as possible. When not busy with winemaking in the Napa Valley, I'm fast at work on the next Chris Garrett novel, The Perfect Vintage.
